Dear Friends,
A year has passed that changed our lives so much that we will feel the consequences of the current epidemic for years. This past year healthcare professionals have undergone the truest and greatest test of their attitudes towards the sick. Scientists have shifted their focus to spheres that include the impact of epidemics on our medical thinking. In addition, the prolonged lack of direct contact has led the majority of our scientific meetings and other academic activities to be transferred to the virtual world. I hope this situation will end as soon as possible.
However, the “Videosurgery and Other Miniinvasive Techniques” team has not slowed down their work for the next issues of the journal. We receive a lot of your manuscripts, which we try to carefully evaluate and refine together with the authors, so that they can achieve the highest scientific value. For this reason, we constantly look for reviewers to cooperate with. We invite all those who consider themselves as specialists in a specific field of surgery and related areas to submit their applications to: j.szeliga@videosurgeryjournal.com.
And in this issue, as usual, fifteen very interesting surgical papers on various aspects of videosurgery await you. You will find three works in the field of interventional radiology, which, as you can see, is developing at an extraordinary pace. I cordially invite you to read all of them.
And for the upcoming Christmas, I wish you all health and rest from all the troubles of the pandemic. I wish you happy reunions with your loved ones, whom the pandemic has pushed away from us for many months. I hope and believe that in the New Year we will be able to meet each other at various conferences and surgical meetings as we used to.
Don’t forget “Videosurgery”, just as “Videosurgery” doesn’t forget you.

See you in the real world in better times!
Prof. Jacek Szeliga
